These globes are hand painted in various scenes through a small hole in the bottom. The painted image is on the inside of the glass. Artists must painstakingly create these images with a very small paintbrush

Jade comes in varying qualities. Our jade bracelets located on another page are jewelry quality (the highest). These eggs contain ornamental (authentic) quality jade not designed for jewelry creation but used for archetecture and household ornament creation. Hence their overall weight may be the same or similar to a bracelet but do not contain the luster required for jewelry.
