Fully shopped and ready to go. All rubber parts and bulbs were replaced, as were coil sleeves under the playfield to improve action. All switched over and under adjusted and cleaned.
The machine was is good shape to begin with and cleaned up very easily. All that is needed is new stickers on the targets. The T and E are missing from METEOR. The spinner was also removed and adjusted to give the S symbol a forward resting position.
Do you think you can score the 1,2 and 3 lights to all the same color at some point to light WOW? One pop bumper is enough to keep this game moving fast. A third flipper up near the METEOR targets helps as well. The two round bumpers at the top of the playfield are a throwback to the old style ones without a solenoid style used as early as the 1930s. It has a switch for the action only and does not throw the ball around. As seen below a dirty one and a clean one, just a toothbrush and a little alcohol is all they need to clean up.
The top part of the playfield shown below shows one of the advance bumpers in place after shop. It advances target values. One of the plastic post screws behind the METEOR targets was stripped out from the wood from years of impact and lack of good rubber. After seating the screw with gorilla glue it is strong again.
